Hood To Coast Israel- The Bible Revival

The 2022 course is a beautiful 115km (70 mile) route with hills, valleys, mountains, rivers, cliffs and springs. Participants run and walk directly through areas of great historical and biblical significance including Joshua in the Valley of Avalon, Samson in Tzora and Eshtaol, and David and Goliath in the Valley of Elah.

The 6th annual Bible-Revival Relay will include 12 sections of 6-12 kilometers having groups of 3, 4, or 6 covering the distance. There are also 50k and 100k ultra races along with a unique half marathon passing through multiple vineyards. To enable an awesome experience, Bible-Revival Village will be set up and open during the whole event, serving as our start and finish point and offering participants food, drinks, great music and a place to rest.

Hood To Coast Israel- Touring Packages

Hood To Coast partnered with Israel Connection Tours, and is offering touring packages for the race participants in the upcoming relay race in 2022.  The touring packages for runners are for 7 days/6 nights – in October (exact dates TBD).

All packages include: accommodations in 4-star hotels: 3 Nights at a hotel in Jerusalem & 3 Nights at a hotel in Tel Aviv, Breakfast & Dinner, shuttles to and from the Airport, daily Transportation, tour guide, touring in Jerusalem and Dead Sea Region and more optional tours.

Is there a walking relay?

Each international relay has different offerings. Check the event page for more information.

When are the starting times posted?

Teams will get their start times by packet pick up for the event.

Will I walk or run in the dark? 

There is a likely chance that participants will complete their leg in the dark. Depending on the start time of your team, you might be starting very early in the morning before the sun is fully up. Check the safety guidelines for walking or running in the dark.

Are there any touring packages for the upcoming race in October in Israel?

COVID-19 in Israel

Just the facts please.
The successful vaccine rollout in Israel, has nearly stamped out all Covid-19 infections.
 
As a result, almost all COVID-19 restrictions in Israel have ended. Including the purple badge restrictions and the green pass restrictions. However, the obligation to wear a face mask indoors remains valid for now. In addition, restrictions on entry and exit to Israel will not be lifted at this time.
 
In this context, anyone flying into Israel must submit an inbound passenger statement no more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure. Foreign nationals must also have an entry clearance and will be permitted entry if they meet the conditions of Israel policy of entry. For example: you may need a negative Covid test up to 72 hours before departure, and another test when you land.
