HOOD & PORTLAND TO COAST

SUSTAINABILITY

We’re taking strides to activate an environmental and social impact in the communities we run and walk in, with a focus on taking waste management to the next level. Here are three main actions you can do to aid in these efforts. Most importantly, each team member can bring and use a refillable water bottle throughout the event from start to finish and supply your team vehicle with a 5 gal water jug. We will all make an impactful difference.

Join the Movement

We’d like to thank our Sustainability Partners Bonneville Environmental Foundation and BottleDrop for helping us make our events as sustainable as possible!

Support the Mother of All Relays in our mission to utilize the event as a platform to create social reconnection, environmental awareness and implement real solutions. Your HTC/PTC team has the opportunity to offset your carbon emissions and donate to the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. The funds will support The Columbia River Forestry Tree project in planting trees in the Columbia River Gorge. Learn more about this project here.

For all of our HTC Race Series Events and The Mother of All Relays, we have partnered with Bottle Drop to return all recyclable items and donate the funds to local charity organizations using their services.

Containers will be recycled & funds will support nonprofits working in the spirit of OR’s Bottle Bill.
