For more than 25 years, the Providence Cancer Institute has been a pioneer in immunotherapy research and treatment– considered one of the most advanced cancer therapies today. As a global leader in immunotherapy, Providence is committed to developing treatments that can cure an even greater number of patients.

Word is Bond is a Portland-born, Black-led nonprofit leadership incubator for young Black men sprouted in 2017. Word is Bond empowers young Black men ages 15-19 years as they transition from boys into young men and find themselves navigating a world that provides very few answers to unlocking their highest selves.

World Vision partners with the Hood To Coast Relay each year to fundraise over 1 million dollars annually for their cause.

Our Streets was formed in June 2020 as a grassroots effort to support the local community while promoting the ideals and goals of the Black Lives Matters movement. They address numerous areas of need such as homelessness, food insecurity, environmental injustice, civilian oppression, and youth engagement.

All Hands Raised aligns the community’s efforts to make positive change for children, youth and young adults. All Hands Raised works to help our community improve the academic and social well-being of Multnomah County children and youth, with an acute focus on equity.

Girls on the Run reaches girls at a critical stage, strengthening their confidence at a time when society begins to tell them they can’t. Underscoring the important connection between physical and emotional health, Girls On The Run addresses the whole girl when she needs it the most.

Emergency Food Distribution
Impacting Our Community
Hood To Coast partnered with Sunshine Division in March 2020, at the onset of the global pandemic, to support the launch of the Emergency Food Delivery Network. Initially created to provide emergency food boxes to individuals and families in crisis, the initiative evolved into a lasting collaboration in response to the growing need for food distribution across the greater Portland area.

Hood To Coast, Portland To Coast, and the Race Series are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming event experience by meaningfully engaging and educating our employees on equity, inclusion, multicultural engagement, and socioeconomic diversity.
Through the work of the HTC/PTC Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement Advisory Committee, we recognize and appreciate diversity, deepen ties with participants and volunteers from all backgrounds, and promote healthy living and social justice within the broader running and walking community.
